A project for Nick Decent
Paper wireframes for homepage
We started by researching the type of users that may be interacting with our site. After three separate interviews we determined our users 18 - 26 age range and type. Once we received substantial knowledge on the pain points we began ideating design options.
We then began designing the low-fidelity prototypes based off our paper wireframes. The prototype then went through an unmoderated usability study to determine any obstacles or pain points.
The team started to act on the pain points found through the study to make our design more user friendly. We added icons for ease of navigation and a review page to help ensure user confidence.
After we were confident in our design we implemented visual aspects into the design. We then ran another usability study to see if any of the visuals interfered with the user’s ability to order.
Our usability study found there was a need for accessibility options and starker contrast for navigational buttons.
We added options for a language changer and help center for any additional needs or questions.
The final product.
A hi-fidelity prototype ready to go live.
